The route
Day 01: Katmanndou- Lukla (1350-2800m), by plane then 3h30 walk to Phakding (2600m)
Day 02: Phakding- Namche Bazar (2600-3450m), 5h30 walk.
Day 03: Namche Bazar- Acclimatization day/Excursion to Khumjung village (3800m), 4 hours return walk
Day 04: Namche Bazar- Tangbouche (3450-3850m), 5 hours walk.
Day 05: Tangbouche- Dimbouche (3850-4400m), 5h30 walk.
Day 06: Dimbouche- Labouche (4400-4900m), 5 hours walk.
Day 07: Lauboche- Gorekshep (4900-5100m), 3h30 walk, followed by the climb to Kalapattar (5545m) in the afternoon, superb viewpoint over the golden mountains, 4h return
Day 08: Grekshep- Base camp (5100-5350m) then return to Thukla (4650m), 7 hours of walking.
Day 09: Thukla- Tangbouche (4650-3850m), 6 hours of walking.
Day 10: Tangbouche- Manjoo or Jorsalle (3850-2800m), 6h30 walk.
Day 11: Jorsalle-Lukla (2800-2800), 5h30 walk.
Day 12: Lukla- Kathmandu by plane/ 35 minutes flight.
