The route
Day 01: Kathmandu- Lukla (1350-2800m) by plane then 3h30 walk to Phakding (2600m)
Day 02: Phakding- Namche Bazar (2600-3450m), 6 hours walk
Day 03: Namche Bazar- Acclimatization day, ascent to Saynbouche village (3670m), 3h, return
Day 04: Namche Bazar- Dole (3450-4000m), 6 hours walk.
Day 05: Dole-Machhermo (4000-4450m), 4 hours of walking.
Day 06: Machhermo- Gokyo (4450-4720m), around 5 hours of walking and in the afternoon, short walk towards the Cho-Oyu glacier.
Day 07: Departure for the ascent of Gokyo Ri (5450m), around 5:30 a.m./ 360° view of the Everest range/ View of the 4 highest peaks in the world, also superb view of the glacier and its lakes. At the end of the morning, descent to Gokyo, 5 hours round trip.
Day 08: Gokyo-Dole (4720-4000), 5h30 walk.
Day 09: Dole- Khumjung (4000-3800m), 5 hours walk.
Day 10: Khumjung-Phakding (3800-2600m), 5h30 walk.
Day 11: Phakding-Lukla (2600-2800m), 3h30 walk.
Day 12: Lukla- Kathmandu by plane/ 35 minutes flight.
