The itinerary
Day 01 : Kathmandu-Chitwan 160 km/ 6 hrs drive. Arrive at Chitwan Sauraha, the main gateway to Chitwan National Park. Check in to your chosen accommodation. Free afternoon to relax and explore the local village. And in the evening participate in Tharu/ local ethnic cultural dance.
Day 02 : Morning: Jeep or elephant safari in the national park. Opportunity to observe rhinoceroses, deer, wild boars, monkeys, and a variety of birds.
Afternoon: Visit the Chitwan Elephant Breeding Center. Canoe trip on the Rapti River to observe crocodiles and water birds. Hiking through the jungle, guided by a naturalist. This activity offers the opportunity to observe the flora and fauna of the park up close.
Day 03 : Departure Chitwan-Kathmandu by tourist bus 160 km. 6-7 hours of travel.
